Who actually shows up to our Jayanagar batches?

Experience: 0-6 years (mostly 0-2 — RV students and recent grads)

Background: RV College of Engineering students (RVCE main campus is on Mysore Road but many RVCE students live in Jayanagar 4th-5th Block PGs), final-year BMS College of Engineering students, working professionals at south Bangalore offices (Karnataka Bank, State Bank, Vijaya Bank, BSNL Bangalore Telecom), and career-switchers from PSU/banking into IT

The pain point: Jayanagar is residential — no major tech parks nearby, so engineers commute to Whitefield (east) or Electronic City (south). For students who want a job in tech but live in Jayanagar, the training center options are scattered across the city. Need a center that's close enough for evening classes without uprooting living arrangements.

Jayanagar alumni story

"I'm an RVCE final-year ECE student living in a Jayanagar 4th Block PG. NH was 7 km from my PG — 20 min by 410 bus to HSR. I cleared CCNA in my final semester, got placed at Mphasis Bannerghatta Road through campus + NH placement support at ₹4.8 LPA. My RVCE Network classroom theory plus NH's real Cisco lab experience made me look genuinely competent in interviews, not just textbook-smart."

Jayanagar → HSR Sector 6 commute

How Jayanagar students reach our campus

BMTC Bus

Big-10 series (BIG-10C, BIG-10K) + 410 from Jayanagar 4th Block / South End → Silk Board → HSR Layout (40-55 min, ₹15-25). 401K and 411A from Banashankari also useful.

Namma Metro

Green Line (operational): Jayanagar (RV Road) → Banashankari → MG Road, but doesn't connect to HSR. After Yellow Line opens (2026-27), transfer at Jayadeva: Jayanagar (Green) → Jayadeva (transfer) → Yellow Line → Silk Board → walk to HSR Sector 6 (~45 min total — actually competitive with bus/auto).

Auto-rickshaw

₹90-130 from Jayanagar 4th Block to HSR Sector 6 (25-30 min off-peak via 30th Cross, 40-45 min in peak)

Uber / Ola

₹140-200 (25-30 min off-peak, 45-55 min in 6-9 PM peak)

Frequently asked from Jayanagar

Jayanagar-specific questions

I'm an RVCE / BMSCE final-year student living in a Jayanagar PG. How does this fit my college schedule? +

RVCE classes typically end by 3:30 PM, BMSCE by 4 PM. Our 6:30-9 PM weekday batches work — Jayanagar-HSR is 25-30 min by auto, you arrive by 6:15 PM after stopping for snacks. Most RVCE-Jayanagar students also use the weekend intensive (9 AM-1 PM) to bank lab hours. About 15% of our annual intake is RVCE / BMSCE final-year students from Jayanagar PGs — this is a well-established pattern.

Are there CCNA institutes in Jayanagar itself? +

There are 2-3 small franchise institutes in Jayanagar 4th Block and around South End Circle — most run by chains focused on test prep. None have real Cisco rack hardware. For RVCE / BMSCE students whose college networking lab is limited to a few hours per week of shared equipment, NH's 24×7 dedicated rack access is the major draw — alumni report that NH lab hours during the week before CCNA exam are when they actually mastered the practical commands. Worth the 7-9 km commute for the lab quality.

Will Mphasis Bannerghatta Road / TCS Bannerghatta hire me with CCNA + a college degree? +

Yes for L1 / fresher network roles. Mphasis has hired 11+ NH alumni from Jayanagar over the past 3 years, mostly into Network Operations and SOC L1 positions starting at ₹3.8-4.5 LPA. TCS Bannerghatta also hires CCNA-certified BTech / BCA / MCA freshers at similar bands. Our placement team has direct recruiter relationships at both — Jayanagar-Bannerghatta is geographically tight, so the commute story is easy to make.

I work at BSNL / Karnataka Bank IT and need CCNA for promotion. Will NH suit me? +

Yes — PSU and banking professionals are about 5% of our annual intake. BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle specifically requires CCNA for the Junior Telecom Officer → Telecom Engineer track (Cisco hardware backbone). Karnataka Bank IT uses CCNA for branch-network engineer roles. We've trained 3+ BSNL employees and 4+ Karnataka Bank employees over the past 2 years. We provide course completion certificates with hours of attendance — needed for the PSU L&D reimbursement process.

Is the Green Line metro useful for the Jayanagar-HSR commute? +

Currently no — Green Line runs Jayanagar → Banashankari → MG Road → Majestic, none of which connect to HSR. After Yellow Line opens (2026-27), the transfer at Jayadeva (Green to Yellow) gives a direct south-bound Yellow Line route to Silk Board → walk to HSR Sector 6. Total commute ~45 min, which becomes the fastest option in peak hours (vs 45+ min by cab in 6-9 PM peak). Until Yellow Line opens, the realistic options are 410 bus (40 min, ₹20), auto (25 min, ₹90-130), or cab (30 min off-peak).
