Is the Green Line metro useful for the Jayanagar-HSR commute? +
Currently no — Green Line runs Jayanagar → Banashankari → MG Road → Majestic, none of which connect to HSR. After Yellow Line opens (2026-27), the transfer at Jayadeva (Green to Yellow) gives a direct south-bound Yellow Line route to Silk Board → walk to HSR Sector 6. Total commute ~45 min, which becomes the fastest option in peak hours (vs 45+ min by cab in 6-9 PM peak). Until Yellow Line opens, the realistic options are 410 bus (40 min, ₹20), auto (25 min, ₹90-130), or cab (30 min off-peak).
