Total weekend hours match what's needed to clear CCNA 200-301 v1.1 in 6-8 weekends. Hosur Road traffic is brutal — how do EC students actually commute to HSR? +
The realistic commute options are: (1) Elevated Expressway by car/cab — 35 min off-peak, never use during 6-9 PM weekday peak; (2) Vajra Volvo bus from EC → Silk Board — 40 min, ₹70-90, comfortable; (3) Weekend batches (Saturday/Sunday) — traffic is 50% lighter, commute drops to 25-30 min. We deliberately scheduled weekend intensives to address the Hosur Road traffic problem. After Yellow Line metro opens (Bommasandra-EC-BTM-HSR), the commute drops below 30 min year-round.
Will my Infosys / Wipro manager accept this CCNA for internal promotion? +
Yes — and many do, because NH issues a course completion certificate alongside the official Cisco CCNA certificate (Cisco grants the official cert via the 200-301 exam at Pearson VUE). Infosys L&D specifically recognizes Cisco CCNA for the Network Engineer → Network Architect track. Wipro requires CCNA for Cisco-partnered managed-services roles. Our placement team helps with the internal-transfer paperwork including documenting course hours.
Are there CCNA training options closer to Electronic City instead of HSR? +
There are a few small franchise centers in Electronic City Phase 1 and on Hosur Road, but they're simulator-only (Packet Tracer / GNS3). NH at HSR Sector 6 is the closest training center with real Cisco rack hardware in production-grade configuration — Catalyst 9000 switches, IOS-XE routers, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls in the same lab. For Infosys/Wipro internal promotions, real-hardware lab experience is the differentiator that gets the certification accepted. 14 km is worth it for the lab access — and most EC students attend weekends-only anyway.
Can I do CCNA classes online from my Infosys EC desk during lunch breaks? +
Yes. We run live online classes at 12:30-2 PM (lunch slot) specifically for working students. Infosys EC office WiFi is reliable enough for video-attended labs — multiple alumni joined sessions from their Infosys Phase 1 desks during the lunch window without issues. Lab homework gets done in the evening from home (real-hardware access via vpn.networkershome.com).
